it started with two, then spreads to six. orchids plants of course. i am unapologetic about getting the previous three pots of phalaenopsis orchids. it was a bargain, and it's subtle petal formation and vibrant colours was impossible to ignore. i must say, i do prefer phalaenopsis over dendrobiums, though in the past i have much success in dendrobiums. after years of yearning for a phalaenopsis. finally i have within my grasp (metaphorically) three phalaenopsis. given my apartment's limited sunlight availability, phalaenopsis continues to bloom wonderfully. from the three pots, a total of 4 blooms have unfurled. this is highly exciting.

my brothers have been contemplating on adding another chinchilla to the apartment. this isn't as easy as it sounds. first i have to accomodate two chinchillas to a bigger cage, which means spilling another 200 dollars on a new cage, and finding time to let the extra addition roam around, with full supervision. i fear my fascination with my orchids might prohibit spending any extra time with a new chinchilla. but as with everything, i might reconsider.

on another note, i'm furious at something. that shall remain a secret.
